Phenelle Segal of ICCS Discusses ASCQR Influenza Vaccination Process of Care Measure in Becker's ASC

Infection Control Consulting Services President Phenelle Segal, RN, CIC, has contributed a column to Becker's ASC Review on the upcoming Ambulatory Surgical Center Quality Reporting program's influenza vaccination process of care measure.

Beginning Oct. 1, 2014, through March 31, 2015, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) certified by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will report data for this added measure — #ASC-8 — to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
